What I'm Doing Now

Last updated 25 March 2026, from Dublin, Ireland. What's a now page?

2 Products in flight
6 Early testers
10+ Years in B2B SaaS

Building products from zero while looking for a team that needs enterprise rigour with founder speed.

Where

Living and working in Dublin, Ireland. I moved here in 2019 and it's home now. Working in my own community in North Dublin is where the ideas for both Pobal OS and Meitheal came from.

Building

I'm bootstrapping products from zero. Real PM work: user discovery, TAM validation, PRDs, backlog prioritisation, competitive positioning. No corporate logo attached, but the same rigour I brought to Zendesk and HiveNet. The tech choices mirror enterprise patterns: DDD bounded contexts, structured logging, automated testing.

Pobal OS Multi-tenant

A multi-tenant platform powering websites, member coordination, and event management for community organisations. Running discovery interviews with 8 civic leaders in North Dublin, structured around what they actually do today, not what they say they want.

Astro Cloudflare DDD
Meitheal HA Add-on

A Home Assistant-native task and strategic planning hub. Local-first by design: your data never leaves your network. 6 early testers running on their own hardware.

Astro SSR SQLite DDD

Shared architecture, separate experiences

Pobal OS runs meitheal.io, this site, and Coolock Village from a single monorepo. Multi-tenant by design, with shared packages for SEO, auth, and domain logic.

For Meitheal, I used RICE scoring to decide what to build first. Calendar sync scored higher than the task board because early testers spent more time context-switching between apps than managing tasks. Household execution has the same coordination problems as enterprise product teams, but nobody builds tools that respect that.

I write about the product thinking behind both projects in my thinking collection, and you can see how I work day-to-day.

Exploring

Enterprise delivery

Shipped critical compliance surfaces at Zendesk through cross-functional alignment and rigorous execution

AI production

Evaluated AI automation across 10,000+ real conversations at HiveNet

Founder ownership

Building two products from scratch as a solo founder, right now

I'm looking for a product role where I can apply nearly a decade at Zendesk supporting, building, and shipping trust-sensitive enterprise systems, plus everything I've learned reading more about product strategy than I probably should be. PCI compliance workflows, DPA automation, fraud-sensitive systems. Remote-first for the right team, happy to be hybrid in Dublin.

If your team has a domain that hasn't been properly productised yet, cross-functional alignment challenges, and business metrics that need to move,

Reading and Learning

Reforge's Product Strategy

Going deep on growth loops and sequencing bets across a portfolio. Applying Reforge's positioning frameworks directly to Meitheal's roadmap: I stopped adding features and started asking which integration would make the product hardest to leave.

Good Strategy/Bad Strategy

Rumelt's argument that most "strategies" are just goal lists with no diagnosis hits painfully close to home. I've sat in too many roadmap reviews where the strategy slide was a feature list. This book gives me better language for pushing back.

Saying No To

Freelance consulting, agency work, and contract PM roles. I want to be embedded enough to understand the real problems, not parachuting in with a framework deck.
